This new out and back course was very flat, icy patches in part and conditions cold but calm. The event director welcomed 269 runners to the delayed start and after a countdown from 10 finishing with a truncated 321 we were off towards Seaford Martello Tower for the turnaround. It felt like the start of a double parkrun, complete with manual timekeeping.

For some this was their very first 10K road race.
1st male home was Ollie Sprague (Seaford Striders) 33:50
1st female was Kerry Langley 43:47 (unattached)
First Rover home was Michael Stenning in 36:53 in 11th.
Next was Brian Birkmyre , 23rd overall time 40:15
Brian was closely followed by Ben Skinner, 24th overall time 40:29
