Rovers Cara Maker held on to her British long jump title at the Lee Valley at the weekend. Cara leapt 4m92 to take the gold medal in the M40 age group.
This followed a successful performance in the 60m sprint. Cara won her heat easily with 8.56 and in the final came surging through at the end to take 4thspot in 8.50
Although triumphant in the long jump the weekend finished with an injury but Cara will soon be back in action as the outdoor season gets underway.
