It didn’t take long for Eastbourne Rovers to get their 2023 season underway, with 4 athletes making the long journey to the Lee Valley New Year Open indoor meeting in North London on Monday (2nd).
The meeting included 60m, 200m, 300m, 400m and 800m races throughout the day.
Nathan Burge competed in 2 races, posting a 8.05 in the 60 metres, following it up with a 25.78 in the 200 metres, a new PB!
Eva Grandi (above), competing in her first indoor race at Lee Valley, and over the 60 metre distance with a time of 8.73!
Caitlin Spencer took on the 200 metres in a time of 27.96.
Stuart Pelling (below) ran in the 800 metres, completing the 4 laps in 2:09:00.
