AGM 2024

Dear Members & Parents

Hope you are all well and are enjoying being a member of our brilliant Athletic Club.

Under our rules, we’re required to hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in December 2024 and to provide at least 4 weeks’ notice of this meeting.

We’re inviting athletes, parents and members to attend Eastbourne Rovers AGM, which will be held on Thursday 5th December 2024 7.45pm in our Clubroom at Eastbourne Sports Park.

The AGM Agenda covers the standing items – approval of last year’s minutes, the annual financial statement, election of the committee for the forthcoming year 2025, the setting of the annual subscription fees from April 2025 to 2026.

Regarding the Committee, if any member would like to be considered for any role or know more about what it does then we would like to hear from you for an initial discussion prior to the AGM with of course no commitment at that stage.

Members wishing to submit any additional motions for consideration at the AGM must do so by Thursday, 14th November 2024. All submissions must be via email to Brian Slaughter Club Secretary, [email protected]
Please note that no “Other Business” will be undertaken at the AGM.

Details of the meeting, agenda, and motions to be considered will be issued by Friday 22nd November via email and posted on Eastbourne Rovers website and shared to our Facebook page and WhatsApp community.

Some great volunteer coaches and parents, support our Club, and a huge thank you for this. More help is required to assist with its general running and organisation during the year ahead. If you are a parent or grandparent and you can give a few hours organising teams for summer competitions and/or are willing to help the Club Committee for 2025, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible.
